Is it just me, or is the top friends list on myspace incredibly stupid? to me, all my friends are equal. people take this "top friends" list seriously saying, "ugh, you took me off your top friends?! i thought we were good friends!" their feelings get hurt and they try to understand what their friends think about them from viewing their top friends list. it's all just ridiculous. myspace should of never introduced the "top friends" list.

This is when you tell your friends they need to grow up. Its a myspace deal that friends are numbered, not yours. Tell them you're on myspace to keep in touch with everyone, not rate your friends. Who gives a crap if your best friend is #6. At least you ahve them on your friends list to being with.

just use the code that takes it off ur profile. i did it a long time ago. it totally helps ur problem. Top friends isnt bad, its only bad if ur friends are immature. but most people, including me, who use my myspace are immature

Yea, it is really stupid. I know of people getting into arguments because someone isnt on someones top! I think you should just have the list and that be it....no top, no first and all that. I'd like to see someone who has a good answer for why tops are a good idea...
